ThunderCats at NYCC 2026

ThunderCats had no panel of its own at NYCC 2026. The weekend ran through the makers and the guests.

Peter Newman, the voice of Tygra, was billed for a Thursday signing at booth 2044 and an 8 PM panel in Room 406.2, per our September 28 announcement.
Mezco showed a seven-piece ThunderCats display at booth 1253, the same 5 Points lineup first shown at San Diego Comic-Con in July. We found no new ThunderCats product shown at the booth.
Super7 founder Brian Flynn held a Walmart Collector Con session on Thursday. It was not billed as ThunderCats, and we found no ThunderCats announcement from it.
Declan Shalvey and Rapha Lobosco were billed for a Friday signing of Mumm-Ra: The Ever-Living at table J03.
A notable ThunderCats toy story of the weekend came from outside the show: Super7 DELUXE Wave 5 (Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, Vultureman and Panthro) surfaced in photos from a UK retailer, and we ran it on October 10, ahead of any Super7 announcement.

Quick answers

ThunderCats at NYCC: your questions

When is NYCC 2027?

We have not found an official announcement of NYCC 2027 dates. New York Comic Con is run by ReedPop at the Javits Center, and its own site is where dates are posted first. Sign up for the alert on this page and we will email you when we see them.

Is ThunderCats going to be at NYCC 2027?

Nobody has said. The makers who brought ThunderCats to NYCC 2026 were Mezco, Super7 and Dynamite writer Declan Shalvey. We will list who is confirmed here as soon as exhibitor and guest lists are public.

What did ThunderCats have at NYCC 2026?

Peter Newman, the voice of Tygra, was billed for a Thursday signing and panel. Mezco showed its seven-piece 5 Points ThunderCats display at booth 1253. Declan Shalvey and Rapha Lobosco were billed for a Friday Mumm-Ra: The Ever-Living signing at table J03. Super7 held a Walmart Collector Con session that was not billed as ThunderCats. The full record is on the NYCC 2026 page.

Did Super7 announce new ThunderCats figures at NYCC 2026?

We found no ThunderCats announcement from the Super7 session. Super7 DELUXE Wave 5 did surface that weekend through photos from a UK retailer, which we ran on October 10, before Super7 announced it. The Astral Moat Monster, shown at San Diego Comic-Con, still had no pre-order on our page as of October 14.

Where do I find ThunderCats exclusives at a convention?

The organiser publishes an exclusives list, and the makers post their own booth graphics a day or two before the show. We read both and put the ThunderCats items on this page. We cannot read the official NYCC pages with our tools, so we link them as well.

How will I know when this page reopens?

Use the alert signup on this page. We will send one email when NYCC announces its next dates and another when the guest and exhibitor lists make the ThunderCats picture clear. This page also keeps the final record of every show we have covered.
